New Mavericks Cafe in Seymour

Good, expected a good hamburger and it was a good ol cafe burget.

First and last time on that place, I just ordered a breakfast but the toast bread was on bad condition, it was green maybe for several days in storage, no eatable, just left the restaurant

Greasy food and terrible customer service, waitress was rude when we pointed out that the "fried potatoes" were to greasy and explaining why I could not eat them, when she brought fresh cut fries as replacement she commented that they were just as greasy with an attitude.

Went there for breakfast food was OK not the best the Waitress had an attitude when we got there then her attitude got worse because my Daughter had a piece of hair in her food talking about what color hair is it what does it matter what color it is just come get the dang food and bring a new plate (hair was black my Daughter has blonde hair)

Very cool place, great food.

It was 7:30 at night. Ordered a bacon wrapped chopped beef dinner. It smelled and tasted rotten. My wife and I asked for a member of the management. It was explained to us that the manager had left and would not return until closing time. In the mean time, my wife and I decided to leave the meal on the table and leave the building. Another employee screamed at us on the way to our vehicle, saying, You're barred from coming into this establishment. The employee appeared to be of high school age. My wife and I have frequented the business before and have never been treated with such disrespect. I understand that everyone has a right to make a living, but not when endangering the health of the public. We did leave our contact information for the management to call us. No response as of now.

Good small town cafe

Stopped for breakfast and although the staff was friendly the food was relatively bland.

The food was awesome and very large portions. The chicken fried steak was very tender you could cut it with a fork

I had breakfast, which was excellent. Mid - morning service was okay.

Service was great! Food was not so much lol. Stop by this hole in the wall with a friend in our travels about a year ago.

I was most amazed at the quality of their groceries.

The experience we had was terrible services the waitresses was ruder then hell it took them close to hour to get our food out I don't live there an i was Here for a funeral services today I will not eat there or stop there anymore at this place an the food was terrible too

Good breakfast on a Sunday morning. Atmosphere was a little odd.

Service is ok, decent food portions. Average plate around $10.

I think it was ok for a little town. There was a group of us that morning and I don't think the waitress was totally up for the challenge, she did her best. The bacon was the best part of the meal. Good portions.

The food was pretty good. Bathrooms need cleaning and repair.

Best breakfast in town!!! Fast Friendly service. Plenty of room to sit down. Local favorite for breakfast especially but I also enjoy their hamburgers and chicken fried steaks.

The ham and cheese sandwich was delious

I ordered the fish plate and it was okay. My mom ordered the taco plate and said Everything tasted like it was cooked yesterday. The sweet tea was okay didn't taste fresh. But the waitresses were friendly.

The service was awful. The food was atrocious, when we ordered, they were out of chicken for some chicken salad, and out of something for something else, I forget. The waitress was also rude, not very friendly. Would not recommend.

THE FOOD IS GOOD AND BEING PART IF THE TEAM IS EVEN BETTER SO ALL THAT HAVENT COME IN PLEASE DO CAUSE I PRETTY SURE YOU WILL ENJOY THE FOOD.

Amazing food and an awesome atmosphere. Will definitely stop again on the next trip!

The restaurant itself was filthy. My toddler and I used the restroom and when we came out a customer was yelling and cursing. The entire kitchen staff came out to attempt to calm the situation down with little success. It was scary for my daughter who is only 2. We left as quick as we could and will not be back.

Don't waste your time and money

The food was good and hot! The waitress is also the owner and is a real jewel. Very attentive to our needs but not over bearing. Reminded me why I love a small town!! Definitely worth stoppin in.

Great little small town stop for breakfast. Nothing special nothing fancy, just a good down home hot cooked breakfast. Eggs were great, and coffee was better. a table of local farmers and the sheriff were there trading stories. I'd definitely recommend stopping in if your hungry

Homey feel. Good food good prices

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of good things to say about this cafe. When we walked in my 1st impression was how dirty it was. We were expecting a little hometown cafe, not the case. The food was not good. I ordered bisquits and gravy, the bisquits were inedible, I couldn't even eat them. I left hungry. My advice pass by if you see this cafe, not worth the stop !

Great food great service

We have eaten there for times. The food has always been very good. You receive allot of food for the price you pay. Normally the service is very good. I not sure why but this time the service was not good. We ordered two fish sandwiches with one of them no lettuce. They served both fish sandwiches with only the bun and fish. We had to ask them for silverware. The waitress only brought us out food, brought back the tomatoes and lettuce, them brought us our ticket.

Excellent service and the chivken fried steak is great.

When we walked in the stench was so bad we considered immediately leaving and we should've trusted our instincts. When we ordered our drinks we asked for tea with lemon and they said there were lemon packets right there and God knows how long they were there. When I went to the bathroom it was dirty and the toilet didn't flush. The servings were so small that me and my grandma had to share and the meal still didn't last 5 minutes. The food was so bad I could go home and make a better hamburger than they did and in less time. I will never recommend this place even to my worst enemy do not come here.

I gave 1 star so it could be seen. The waitress saw us come in & we still couldn't get any service. After about 20minutes, we got up & walked out. Talk about a rude place. ROCK INN CAFE is great. Friendly, courteous & very good.
